Default Another option for smog sensor reset

I went to the dealer yesterday and they helped me reset my sensors since I could not pass smog. They hooked my 993 up to the computer and flagged the sensors that needed to be reset. I then went through the following steps...

1.Start car and idle for 1 min.
2. Drive car for 3:10 at 2000 rpm's
3. Stop and rev engine to 4000 rpm's for 90 seconds
4. Drive car for 5 min. ant 2000 rpm's - you must go over 40mph, and under 60
5. at this point you have completed 1 trip, turn off engine
6. Repeat the same steps which will complete trip #2.

Your sensors will now be able to pass smog.

The steps were fairly easy, after idle I drove circles in a parking lot in first gear for 3:10 which was close to the freeway. After a few stop lights I was on the freeway in 6th gear doing 50mph at 2000 rpm's. Going 50 on the freeway sucks but it did the trick".

Now the OBDII readiness states need to read (OBDII scanner) to determine if they
are now SET and not RESET, i.e. when the battery gets disconnected. This will determine
if the initial step of an emission test has passed.
