If I hadn't searched already I wouldn't have asked. Anyone feel like being more helpful than Fill?

Fill I'll send you 5 bucks if you can find a DIY on Rennlist that shows the dent you have to put in that piece to get a Short Shift kit to fit a C4S...

Cheech @ Rennwerke in Elmsford

what is SSK?
Short Shift Kit

RS Lightweight Flywheel / Clutch, Solid Motor Mounts, Some sort of lowered suspension setup (prob motons despite that being overkill for my skill level) Later on, lighter wheels than my stock solid spokes and some Recaro SPA's. Screw the slope I'm basejumping...

do you have a 97 c4s?
Indeed I do

I did a write up a few years ago on how to install a Weltmeister short shift kit on Robin's web site seen here.. http://p-car.com/diy/shortshift/

The Weltmeister short shift also replaces the shift rod and involves a little more work than the RS but overall it's the same process. Enjoy!

I did a search on P-Car for the short shift kit write up and could not find. I knew I had seen it there previously.
This write up will come in handy when doing my install.
Thanks !

There's an old thread where Viperbob described it. Looks like there was a pic, which was later removed. I've been researching the same thing, and I e-mailed him a couple of days ago asking if he still has the picture of the "dimple". Here's the thread:
