Default Black on Granite (with some Iowa bugs and Nebraska dirt added)

Just drove my coupe out to the Hey Wait For Me Racing World Headquarters, West.

Turtles do like bugs, and as you can see, I collected more than my share in 1385 miles.

But best of all, it's like a new car again.

Finally got around to eliminating the HighBoy look (again... turtles).

Went with the ROW M030 suspension with Bilstein HD.

Special thanks to Gert for all the parts, to Viken for the specs, and to Viken, Fish, Dan in St Louis, Jeff Phillips, Eric in Chicago and a few others for answering all my questions about it.

Eric in Chicago even offered to swap out the suspension with me in his garage.
Eric's changed suspensions as frequently as JimBob changes his underwear.
So it would have been a fun project, but I just didn't have time.

Midwest Eurosport mounted it.

I love the new suspension.

Handles great.

Looks right.

But on certain sections of I-80, the expansion strips and truck road damage were murder.

I'm looking forward to having lots of fun on the wild roads of Wyoming with this.

(Oh yeah, special thanks to ceboyd's pal, Eric, for the 3M film. Great job on that.)
Now to find a hose and water faucet...

Love the bugs Mike. The sign of a great car being used as intended. What is the location of those fantastic pics? I was up your way to Chicago from the flatlands of Central Illinois yesterday. I57 about puts me to sleep. I'm longing for a roadtrip with some scenery like that soon. Thanks for sharing.

It will probably look more like your car once it's cleaned up. Although, as I recall, bugs can be a problem in Florida, even in February

I'll post more pics once the car has the dirt and guts scraped off.

The shots are of the Teton Range from the Jackson Hole side. Mountains don't get much prettier. It does take a while to get there though...

I hope you tried Teton pass to Idaho. 14% grade as I recall. Over the "hill" you can discover Bitch Creek and the Henry's Fork.

Driven the pass many a time. Real Estate is exploding on that side.

Drink Bitch Creek on occasion, but haven't fished it or Henry's.

Too many places here. But I do know Henry's Fork is world class.

Phil

I'm not cool enough for phlat yet, but the wheels will be gunmetal Forgelines once the racing season is over

Thanks Chuck.

But it wasn't really a trip. I'm keeping the car in Wyoming.

Beautiful pictures, Mike!!!!

Now SLOW DOWN. You should be driving slow enough that the bugs have time to get out of the way! The founder of Hey, Wait For Me Racing should know better.

It's funny how we're so impressed with the awesome landscapes in europe and other more exotic locales, when some of the best scenery is right here in the USA!
