PPI near Woodbridge, VA or DC area
A co-worker of mine is about to pull the trigger on a 1984 911 cab located in Woodbridge, Virginia which I believe is near D.C. Like the good Rennlister I am, I recommended he get a mechanic to perform a PPI prior to the sale. The car is currently being services at Laslo's Foreign Car Service in Woodbridge, so I'd like to find him another shop in the area that knows 911s and can look at the car. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Brendan

There are a lot of good options for shops around here.
InterSport Performance: 703-242-8680
ASG: 703-876-2811
Those are the two I have numbers handy for. ANother shop is IMA Motorsports. Any of these would be great resources, and people I trust near woodbridge.

There is also RPM in Newington (right up from Woodbridge). Stan Fox and Bill Hagy own that one and they know the older 911's. I'll have to get back to you with the phone number.

RPM is the closest to Woodbridge. Look them up. They're on Cinder Bed Rd. I don't believe there are any reputable Porsche wrenches in W(h)oodbridge.

I had Taylor @ ASG do a ride height and proper alignment last week after I installed the M030 / Bilstein HD suspension. Very methodical, patient, and willing to discuss anything about the car. He truly seemed to care about my car and that the suspension would be just where I wanted it.

If you talk to Stan or Bill, please tell them I no longer go to them only because I moved far away and ASG is right down the street from me now. I always feel bad about that, but I never see Bill or Stan at any PCA events. They're a great shop too.
