Can someone tell me where I can purchase the intake (trumpet) elbow for a 993 non-turbo? I see a lot of chatter in the forums, however I can`t seem to locate the part. Any feedback from first-hand users would also be welcome ?

Also once installed, what would stop rain water from being sucked directly into the airbox????

shattergard, I picked mine up from Gert. Here is his web site: www.carnewal-europe.com. Look under upgrades and cold air intake. The elbow has two holes at the bottom which are designed to drain any incoming water. I have not installed mine yet since I am waiting for the body shop to finish painting my tail. Search the following thread and you should see it "Motor Sound Air Box & Snorkel "

I bought mine from the local dealer. Air Intake Tube 993-110-360-51

There is also a replacement rubber piece for the air intake on the left side of the engine as well, but I cannot find the part number

You can pick it up at any dealer. $35 at Sunset. There is a hole near the bottom of the intake that lets the water drain out.
