Oh, your up north, cool..

I haven't been to Crystal Cove either. Just heard about Crystal Cove for the first time last week.. I have to go check out one of these car meets.

Thanks for the invite though.. It's a little bit of a drive for a hi and by...

Here in Florida they take driving without ins. very seriously. Proof of ins. is required to purchase a tag. And should you get hit by some ahole without ins. I've been told if they are charged with the accident you can personally hold their drivers license hostage until they pay up or make restitution.

So far, every Saturday. Also, some brands come on certain weeks. Last week the Lambo. guys showed up in force. This week, the 993s (plus some other Porsches). The Ferrari guys are pretty regular. The Elise group was there in big numbers the first two weeks, but not many today. You get the picture.

Thus far, few MBs and or BMWs.

Well said Anir. It is truly disappointing to see the world today as opposed to when I was a kid in the fifties. There is no sense of personal responsibility-the court systems have run amok with political correctness and pure cowardice so as to protect the perpetrators!!

So the end result was the police found the lady at the Borders in Santana Row and arrested her. She refused a breathalyzer test and was visibily drunk. She does have a licence and insurance, however. She left in the back seat of a police cruiser, with two felony charges, DUI and a hit-and-run. I think aggravated assult should have been added as well since she nearly hit the people who were trying to stop her from driving away.

Anywho, it was really nice meeting you Pong.

Was the driver's race really essential to the story?

Trash is trash, no matter the size of the bank account. Would it have made it better if the offender was driving a Porsche or Lambo?

I would never have seen "Dukes" movie - nor would any TRUE fan of the original!

(I'll stop there since I don't want to go further off topic - i.e. Lambo fender bender)

X2 - PC police?! (Although you're correct...)

It might have made it a bit better if offender was driving a Lambo! I mean, since I can't afford one, F&*k em! Some comic relief watching them back into one another!

Supposedly she was drunk and already has a DUI. Unbelievable...

Anyway it was a really good to see the large turnout of Porsches today.
