Was advised to check resistance of the spark plug wires off a 993na to see if they're still any good. Any range to be looking for? Thanks for any info.

If no expert answers, my thoughts.
Measure them. They'll all be close in resistance. Or open. The resistance may be in the plug connector and not in the wire. In which case you could replace the connector if bad.
I believe the failure is arcing to the chassis and not opens. Check out the insulation for deterioration. You can look over the wires in the dark for arcing to the chassis.
Oh yea, do a Search for spark plug wires in the 993 forum.

Cool, thanks. Yea, the arcing thing is something I've experienced before on another car. Good thing I realized it before rebuilding the carburetor for no good reason.
