Interesting. Mine was exhaust drivers side. Now I am beginning to hear a slight tick from the drivers side (bet its exhaust). I wonder how many of us with exhaust bad lifters also had our engine undertray on for most of our cars life. I know mine did!

By the way the new lifters seem to be of a better design only time will tell.

Thanks, I haven't noticed any clicking sounds, but if I am in a drive thru I can hear a slight tick-tick-tick with each engine stroke while sitting in idle. I hear the same type of clicking sounds with all my other cars, so I figure it is normal to hear certain amount of ticking sounds coming from the engine. I guess if they get loud enough is when you have to take a closer look.
