Are laser difuser's legal anywhere? What does a decent one cost?

No Rick I dont think they are legal as they emit a signal, so you are broadcasting.....a good one will set you back close to $400.......but the V1 cost that so I guess most will not gulp to much....I keep toying with the idea but have not done so yet....hey maybe we could org a GB ???

I hope I get to put enough miles on my 993 to get around to another oil change someday. Next job is tranny fluid and replacing the tensioning plate o-ring when it arrives someday.

I agree about laser scatter. I have picked it up many times with my V-1.

Check with your State's DOT. They can answer that question regarding legality. Make sure you talk to someone that know's the difference between a radar detector, laser diffuser and radar jammer.
If you have a front plate the K-1 is great. Otherwise the system I am using ZR3/SR7 by Escort is really good but is much more expensive to install. The K-1 will "only" run you about $600 or less. Don't ask how much I spent for my system.
