You're clearly not braking aggressively enough. Wait until you're 40 feet from the intersection before braking. That WILL solve your problem.

I get squeal after driving aggressively and I lightly touch the brake approaching an intersection. The previous post is right, the harder you hit the pedal the squeal goes away. Normal driving does not produce squeal, but Im not sure which pads Im using....

I'm not familiar enough with Pagid Blues to say, but you probably know OEM Textars have a good reputation for being squeak-free. You can also be sure the holes and calipers are free of brake dust.

I have on my race car Pagids and they squeel like pigs till they warm up. On the track they are great once they get some heat in them and there is no squeel, but on the street you will never get enough heat to stop the squeeling...

Installed Pagids and new rotors that squealed like a pig. Swapped the Pagids for Textars from the Porsche dealership and now quiet as a sleeping baby.

I have pagids as well and they squeal like no other. Interestingly enough, like others said, they only squeal under light braking. Heavy braking produces no squeal.

Pagid Blue is a medium street/track pad and are much harder than the textars or OEM pagids. The will squeel unless you get them heated up. If you are tracking, stay w/the blues and switch out to others for street. If not tracking and you don't like the noise, go with OEM or the softer Pagids.

What is it that makes the squealing sound in a brake system, and how do the anti-squeal spiders or different types of pads, or bedding the pads eliminate the problem?

My brakes are very loud; having just got the car two weeks ago I just decided to put stock pads on as I only drive on the street. Will let you know if this fixes the problem.
Also, I agree with the earlier post: it certainly helps to leave your braking for later and apply more pedal pressure; the brakes are quiet when using this technique.
