Hi - you have to be aware of the difference in labelling between the UK, I believe in the US the rating is a combination of RON and MON numbers - an average of RON and MON (“R+M/2”) In the UK, they just use the RON number, so 98 Octane in the UK is a pure RON number, not directly comparable with the numbers on the pump in the US
