Exclamation Correct Offsets?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find it.

I'm selling Techarts and I've been trying to figure out the correct offsets for a 993. There are two conflicting websites though.

They are Techart Formulas with 8.5x18 in the front and 10.5x18 in the rear. The techart website says ET40/ET42 will fit on a 993 and 993 TT (http://www.techart.de/campaigns.htm) while CEC says ET50/60 would be correct (http://www.cecwheels.com/images/medi...ice_guide.pdf).

Which one is correct?

Thanks.

PCA- I looked at mine and they are 40/42. The fronts fit fine and with 265's the rears are tight but don't rub. I used to run 285's on my old 5 spokes but i don't think I could with the formulas. Hope this helps

Dan's real world experience in running this size/tire combo notwithstanding (great look btw ), 10.5 w/ET42 will pretty much limit max tire size to 265 on a NB unless they are willing to roll (and perhaps pull) the fenders...also 265 on 10.5 is pretty stretched (I run 285 on 11" rims and they are pretty stretched w/this size/combo). Different tires will have differenct should profiles so while it worked for Dan, it may not with another brand of 265s. You may want to caveat your ad that the buyer may want to test fit these rims w/the exact tires they will be using prior to purchase.

David is very correct BTW. I run the PS2's which have a rolled back shoulder which no doubt helps. Me and the guy at discount tire had a bet as to if they would fit (he was very nervous that they wouldn't I was fairly confident they would), I won but not by much. I am also at ROW height if I went down to RS I would have to roll the fenders.

David- I've been meaning to tell you but haven't and a chance, your cab is the nicest I've seen. Great stance and perfect wheels. Nice job!!

Thanks, green is not normally the first color that comes to mind for a Porsche....I've done a few mods since that pics (incl. steel mesh in the front grill) but haven't had a chance to update my sig.
