I really want a 3-spoke CF and leather/vinyl steering wheel. However, I cannot find out from any local sources the correct 996 color that will best match a Classic Grey interior. Can anyone help? Do any of the stock 996 interiors match or would I be better off going the black route with black steering wheel/ shift boot/ e-brake handle/ seats?
I'm not a huge fan of the 2-tone look though, but the mismatched grey also doesn't work too well.

Any input is appreciated.

You could also to recolor the 996 SW to match.....there are various manufactures out there...here are some for example............

Try ColorPlus if you are going to dye. They make Surflex, which is a great product. I used to to re-dye a steering wheel and also my shift boot. Perfect results, and I had never dyed anything prior to that. IIRC, the have all the factory color codes and provide dye to match.

OK - I have learned that the two standard grey interior colors available on the 2000 996 were space grey(dark) and graphite grey(light).
Does anyone know which one matches a Classic Grey interior best?

I purchased my CF three spoke wheel from Gert Carnewal. I ordered the classic grey to match my interior and he sent the approriate one. You may want to call or e-mail him for the color.

Tony - Great idea - I just emailed him. Could you either post a picture or email me a picture of your interior with the steering wheel?
