Jeff: I will try to get a pic of the pair of wire conectors that I fabricated- they are really easy; on each end of the 3 inch wire just crimp on a male bullet conector -(large size) on one end and a regular female clip connector on the other end.
Once that is made that will be your interface between the black wire (going into the ballast) with the copper male slide clip connector and the Brown wire with the female bullet connector attached to the housing which must be disconnected from the light housing on the bullet end.
You take your interface with the Male bullet side and connect it to the female bullet coming from the light housing and connect the female slide in connector to the male copper slide in connector (blackwire running to ballast parallel to the red wire) and there is the final plug and play.
