Default Oval Tips

What is the difference in these tips?

First pic - 993 111 981 00 / 993 111 982 00

Second pic - 993 111 251 52 95 11 / 993 111 252 52 11

Third pic - 993.111.252.53 / 993.111.251.53

I could be wrong, but I believe that the first pic is a picture of the "big ovals" for the nb 993, the second is the motorsound option tips for the nb and the third are the std. exhaust tips for the nb. They appear to be narrow body tips because they do not have the offset like the wide body tips. Hope that helps and maybe someone else could confirm since you provided part numbers as well.

A friend of mine has these factory tips on his 1995 Carerra 4 Cabriolet.
He wants to get the ovals.
How can you tell which ones he should get???

If the first pic of part no - 993 111 981 00 / 993 111 982 00 is for the NB (ie: Chris322 is correct), then these are what he wants and which will fit his car.

I have the wide ovals, and the first pic looks exactly like mine, except for offset (since I have the wide body version).

First picture - Big ovals - a ~$700 option
Second picture - standard tips 96-98 if there polished then they are the motorsound tips non polished standard tips from what I understand.
Third picture - Standard 95 tips.

My car came optioned with the big ovals and it really makes the whole look of the rear.

There is a guy on ebay that sells some knock-offs that look very similar. There have been some Rennlisters that have bought them and seemed happy with them. No affiliation of course...but at $60 I think they are reasonable.

I saw those and was wondering if they were ok. Thanks

So, we all agree that the "Big Ovals" in the first pic and the ones on ebay listed above will fit.... Right???

I have the eBay Big Ovals...they are great, and well worth the price, unlike the OEM ones.
