Default 1998 993 For Sale on ebay

Hi everyone. Long time no hear. I stopped visting this site because all it did was make me spend money. LOL. Anyway, my time is near. I need to sell my 1998 993 CAB for many reasons out of my control. I am takingserious offers on my asking price on ebay. It has most of what 993 owners like. Please help a fellow rennlister.

Its a 1998 and the last aircooled year Porsche. It should be worth a lot of money in 15 years which was my orignal plan. One of car collector buddies already has one 1998 993 or he would have bought mine. I would have kept it if I didnt have financial problems along with a wedding I am trying to do which is around the corner. I see some guy bought a stripped 95 for 25K. Mine is loaded for 28.5K. Mine only needs a right valve cover gasket. The lower one.

Cell is 917-676-7678

Regards
-Gary A

Gary,

You are just giving this car away. What a great deal for somebody. Best of luck with your future.

Gary,
You were asking $39,500 for the same car in September. Why the $11,000 drop in asking price now?

It's an 80,000 mile Cab that should be worth a lot of money in 15 years as per your plan? It's a good thing you're selling because your investment plan was flawed.

my advice is not to reference KBB in your Ebay ad. It is an inaccurate measure of the market for these cars. You should expect to get 36-38k IMO.

I have a 98 993 cabrio w/ 48k miles,I purchased it two months ago after searching for nearly a year. I have a pretty good feel for the market.

And, as another point of reference, I went on the very high side. I just purchased a '97 993 c4s with 14k miles and as new condition for $66k. My search was 3 years to find the car I wanted.

That seems very reasonable Gary. BTW, Gary IS a stand up guy, RL member or not. When it comes to real deal no BS performance he knows his stuff. I've had a few dealings with him over the years. Good Luck Gary.

Cheers,
Andy

Great deal for someone. Too bad you dont have time to take off some of the mods and sell them individually. I personally think you could get that money for a stock 98 cab. It should be fun watching the bidding.

OK guys, things come up and I need to stop playing around. I am selling because I invested in the business and trying to go do the next step in life. Some understand, others dont. Its OK.

The 11K drop was to just get it sold. Thats all.

Gary,
No worries. I was just curious. That's a hell of a price difference, either way. Good luck with the sale.
