Finally snapped and bought a 993
After a year of keeping my eyes peeled for a very well looked after 993 cabrio, I finally found one 2 weeks ago and bought it. 94 Aventura Green cabrio with only 50,000kms (23,000miles) and full Porsche dealer history. The biggest item on the PPI report was a cracked engine belt and a aircon fault code.
Have been reading the posts for a while now and thanks to everyone for their help and knowledge! 993 owners are definitely a lot more passionate than SL owners! Pick up car tomorrow..will post pics very soon after that!
ps. have also signed up as a Rennlist member...just awaiting my confirmation email.

12 hrs to go til I get my mitts on that baby!!! Been waiting a long time for this day!
First mod will be clear indicator lights and "red" rear turn signals. Am looking for a 3rd brake light bridge too(anyone have a spare one lying around in their garage?)...otherwise, will drive it first to see what else "needs" to be modified. An old school buddy in Australia has been a Porsche race mechanic for close to 10 yrs now and has been acting as my sounding board. Pics tomorrow, I promise!
