Lloyds Mats - Cashmere color match??
Anybody ordered Lloyds Ultimats in Cashmere? How was the color match?
Mine came in last week and the color isn't anywhere close. My wife even agrees and she normally doesn't care mutch about the cars.

The mats are darker. I would describe it as more caramelesque. To control for any fading, i also checked them against some carpet where the sun-don't-shine.
I am going to try to get them to send me some swatches to compare.

I purchased the same cashmere mats for my 993 with the carrera script in black and had the same thing, the mat's cashmere is darker than the cars interior.
Since mine is a daily driver they got dirty real quick and next time I get a set I'm going with black mats with a cashmere carrera script.

My local shop had some Lloyds samples, including Cashmere #533. It matched my '89 interior surprisingly well. Generally, even from the factory, Porsche mats never match the carpeting.
I haven't bought any yet. I'm actually thinking about coco mats from www.cocomats.com. They have a new mat color combo called java (not even on their web site yet) that works quite well with the cashmere. Rather than a solid color, smooth carpet mat with no heel pad that shows every bit of dirt, these coco mats have a nice varied texture, multi-colors of material and a durable heel pad. With a light color like cashmere, I think they may be a good choice.
Similar to coco mats but with a tigher weave, almost resembling the old square weave carpeting of 356s, are sisal mats. They have a beige color that resembles cashmere but is off a little (lighter) just like the typical carpet mats are. I found them here: http://www.roadworksauto.com/sisalmats.htm

Ewww. Glad you posted this. I was just about to order a set.
Park Place in Texas has the OEM mats cheaper than Lloyds....

no idea if the match is better though....

I know most people prefer to have mats that match the interior carpet and I was one of those people until I checked out the recent thread on pictures of interiors. I decided to go with blue Lloyds mats with my lighter grey carpet (my dash and interior trim pieces are blue). I can honestly say I am very pleased with the new mats. I don't feel that the contrasting color detracts from the interior at all. The OEM mats are of inferior quality to the Lloyds and I suspect that the blue will hold up much better to wear and dirt than grey mats. Just my 2 cents.

Match for Midnight blue int.?
Does anyone know which Lloyds mats match the Midnight blue interior best? I have the Metro blue but was wondering if there is a better match.

Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions. When i bought my car a couple years ago, it came with black Lloyd mats over top of the original mats. I really didn't like the look so will keep trying to get the best match. I have ordered some additional color Lloyd samples so we'll see what looks best. I'll post back when i get them.

Black would look good in my cashmere interior too since the dash and exterior are black.....hmmm.
The pix of the OEM mats do look fairly cheesy....
Hmmmm...

I wonder if "Sand Beige" would be a closer match (Color code 545). You can see some samples at this website (no affiliation):

Found this old thread--have the same question: Anyone figured out which Lloyd's Ultimat color is closest to 993 Cashmere?

I have a cashmere interior in my 98 cab...IMHO you should get black mats...easier to keep clean, no color match issue, and the two-tone interior is a nice change vs all cashmere.
