I'm a day late to the love fest here but I've got to concur that this is a great place. I've enjoyed hanging around here a lot the last few months and for a few years prior while I learked and dreamed. Robin, thanks for all that you share here and on your site. I found p-car.com when I was researching which 911 to buy and it was invaluable information then and now that I'm doing my own work. Great post man.

Day late on the group hug, myself.

Robin, you are indeed a class act ...thank YOU for all you've contributed, and your continued open arms.

And to all others here who contribute not only your technical skills and DIY-er knowhow, but also your humor, wit, and general wisdom: thank you all, as well!

a group

Are you kidding me? This place is EXPENSIVE, and Robin is a drug dealer.

Before I found Rennlist, I didn't know that my lovely 993 cab was actually at 4WD height, that my tires weren't sticky enough, that I needed seats with holes in the backs for seatbelts that are a PITA, that fire is apparently a possibility I should be prepared for, that 4300k lights were a good thing, that my strut towers were ready to cave in on each other in corners, that I needed to time my laps, that ordinary wax just isn't good enough, that my tips look dirty, that I needed an extra set of wheels and a special jack to make changing them easier. Yikes!

Ok, I did save a bundle cleaning my ISV valve all by myself. Thanks for that.

Robin,

Late to this group hug. I was priviledged to have met you once when you joined in one of our BAR drives. We had coffee at Saratoga. I'm sure tens of thousands of P-car enthisiasts who visited your DIY site and have your RSR exhaust will feel the same we feel about you.

The Porsche owner community is much richer because of you. To this we

Have a great BBQ. Wish I could come down (again) and meet up with you and Viken etc. Unfortunately the date is spoken for.

Enjoy in great health.

I Have No Life But This
by Emily Dickinson

I have no life but this,
To lead it here;
Nor any death, but lest
Dispelled from there;
Nor tie to earths to come,
Nor action new,
Except through this extent,
The Realm of You!

Robin, thank you for all your wonderful contributions to our hobby
Chris

JPS,

Thank you for the ROTFLMAO first thing in the morning.....

As coincidence would have it on your comment, I am changing my day job from the technology industry to drug manufacturing very soon!!!!!

CP, I still remember that drive very much, somehow I ended up being the 2nd car behind Swinpin. I still think about those twisties leading to Big sur a lot, it was a whole lot of a fun. Very much looking forward to meet up with the northern guys again soon.

Hi Robin,
I've used your website countless times in helping me fumble around in taking things apart and putting them back together again....your time and generosity in maintaining pcar.com along with your contributions here are fantastic.

Someday I hope to meet you and shake your hand sir!

Robin ... at least at the time of this posting, your latest above was #1,911 ... good karma.

Keep the drugs coming - I think of you at every stoplight when I get to listen to my RSRs burbling away :-)

Best regards,

Doug,

WOW! I didn't even realize that #1,911... that's crazy! What a coincidence.

Thank you

All of you guys (more knowledgeable and capable than I) have saved me big bucks (at least temporarily) by my looking at my old 993 in a new light. Rather than dump it and buy a 997 (semi-ordered) I am going to hang with the 993. Thanks to all of you for input (direct and indirect). P-car is especially great, Robin!
