I'm quite certain that Marcus is away on vacation this week...he's got some things working for me and he indicated that they'll ship on/around the 9th due to his travels.

Be patient...it will be worth it.

i would recommend asking marcus to send a picture of your order before he ships it...that way you can confirm all the peices are exactly what you wanted (there may be confusion in the translation).

the parts i got from marcus were of excellent quality and fit.

do a search for a 3-4 page thread on the orders a bunch of us did early this year

I should have them tomorrow.
The full set was not inexpensive, but far better cost than any other source for OEM CF, even with the Euro exchange rate the way it is right now.

I just got an email back from marcus and I'm a little confused. Maybe one of you can shed a light......

First of all the list is in deutsch and it's hard to understand.

second of all, the gauge panel in your picture looks like a full piece and the picture I got looks more like a "add on".

I got about 10 pictures but the list as about 20 items so its hard to tell which is which.

First of all, the list is in German, you can use a translation program to help you through.

Second, a little work on your part to match the list with the images he sends will help you figure out what you are looking for/ at. I checked, double checked, and triple checked back and forth to make certain I knew what each piece was prior to ordering.

Third, Marcus is VERY understanding and will work via email with you to make certain you are ordering exactly what you want. I confirmed, and re-confirmed my list with pictures with him several times to make certain the order was correct.

Fourth, remember he offers CF pieces for 911/964/993 - the images of the gauge surround he sends is for a different version Porsche than the 993 - the one in my image is for a 993 with the space for the light over the key (Marcus even confirmed with me the need for the light hole).

Does that help?

I may be wrong but I think the picture you received is not for the 993. I have the full set from Marcus in my car and it looks like the first picture above. BTW...the fit and quality was excellent.

I'm not critisizing his list or anything, don't get me wrong!!

I got 12 pictures and 27 items are listed. some parts I didn't even know existed and I don't want to miss anything. I am not saying I will order everything on the list but I just wanted to make sure of all the parts. Yes I have figured out some of the words with babelfish and other translation sites but sometimes it just gives me some nonsense words.

Anyways I've emailed Marcus back with a more detailed list of the parts I really want to purchase.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I am the person whom started the thread. To that extent I am confused as well. The photos do not make sense and the email I received did not contain pricing as stated.

The pricing was sent as a doc format and not straight on the email.

Yes I agree that some pictures are confusing cause the one (gauge surround) I posted above had the title 993 and everybody is telling me otherwise. anyways I'll be waiting for his reply and will see from there on which pieces I will order.

Thanks to all for a great source of CF parts.

Could someone post the pricing here so we don't all have to email marcus?

If I read the posting guidelines correctly, then posting the pricing would violate the terms of the forum.

So, to answer your question:
No. No one should post the pricing.

If you want to save some significant money on CF pieces, do the leg-work yourself and be patient.
