The event was postponed, the previous weekend, because of the weather – but by early morning, ‘Memorial Saturday’, it was just perfect.
Over 60 cars entered the competition – 30 for ‘Full Concour’ and 30 for ‘Street Class’.
Here’s the pix:

(Umm …I took 1st. place in ‘Street Class’ :-))
G.
P.S. If anyone sees 'their' car and wants to download+use the (high. res.) pic for whatever reason ...I have no problem with that.

I had a chat with a judge, one day, and his philosophy was, "ideally we want to see the car ...as if it had just left the factory".
On a realistic note ...they'd prefer to see 'some attempt made' at repairing dings, scratches, swirls, chips, etc. etc. -- no matter how amateurish -- because, to them, that means that YOU have i) spotted the anomaly and ii) made an effort to correct it.
If they come across a car where THEY (on a cursory look) can see 'obvious flaws' - - then that tells them a lot about YOUR level of 'detailing' -- and, yep, you can be sure that THAT will reflect in your scoring.
It's all about detailing ...no matter how 'minor'. I've personally seen judges twist one corner of a clean hanky into a 'pointy end' and insert it into the rear crevice of a door handle -- jiggle it -- and then remove it -- to see if the hanky end was still clean.
