Question Different part #s for 18 X 11 Hollow Spokes ...

I have two rear hollow-spokes for a WB with slightly different part #s which appear identical in every other way:

996 362 142 11 (Fr = 6200N)
996 362 142 03 (Fr = 5800N)

I think these are just two different vintages of the same wheel, or perhaps one is OE and the other OEM? I would greatly appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this, and would also love to know what the different 'Fr' ratings (N=newtons??) mean?

For future reference, is there a reliable online source for part # queries (or is this it )?

Thanks as always ...

As per PET catalog, the xxxxxxxx11 replaces number xxxxxxxx03.
I have joined a picture of the catalogue and description.

Excellent ... it appears these should be a very suitable match then ... I still wonder what the two different 'Fr' references are in what appears to be Newtons?

Thanks,

Maybe the "newer" versions are slightly stronger in the force they can handle? Either way, I think you'd be in good shape.

I am also thinking it might refer to some measure of strength ... did the 2003 TTs have a bit more hp to put down?

Thanks for the help.

Steve ... looks like I'm good to go with these wheels, and I am looking forward to trying a 295/30 and 235/40 wheel set with them ... thank you ...

Doug,

Post some pictures when you have them mounted up.
