All soft compound tires do this until they're close to, or at, their normal operating temp.

Normal on many HP tires, but I don't have it on my Bridgestone RE750s.

Old "cause" theory was the belts having nylon in them.

When I had my Audi TT in the garage for a long time during German winters I made very good experiences with styrofoam plates under the wheels.

How many miles a year are you guys putting on your car??? These things are ment to be driven.... and enjoyed!!!!!!!!!! I am doing about 7k miles a year.
