Default Bitten Bad By GT3 Bug-Another 993TT Up For Sale..

I test drove a 05 GT3 Saturday. I can only imaging how the 997 GT3 will be, but I can't shake the I-want-it-now syndrom. So the 993TT goes:

1997 Guards Red/Black

26,280 Miles – No accidents – Clear title – Clear Carfax

All books, records, original window sticker and invoice, tools, etc.

All options and upgrades are GENUINE PORSCHE FACTORY parts.

Major service just performed at Porsche dealer at 25,800 mi, in March 06

Brand new Pirelli P-Zero tires, with less than 50 miles (mounted May 3, 06)

Porsche Factory Options:

• Full leather Interior
• Oval chrome exhaust pipes
• Factory sport seats with Porsche crests in head restraint
• Inferred security system
• Deluxe Digital Sound
• Remote 6 disc CD changer

Porsche Factory Upgrades:

• Carbon fiber 3 spoke steering wheel
• Carbon fiber dash and gauge cluster
• Carbon fiber shift **** and brake handle
• MO30 Porsche Sport Suspension with RoW springs (European ride height), with Bilstien HD adjustable shocks (less than 500 miles)
• Turbo S chin spoiler
• Turbo S brake vents with integrated HID fog lights

Clear Bra paint protection (complete package install), includes bumper, Turbo S chin spoiler, headlight shields, ¼ hood, mirrors, fender well trailing edges, door edges, under door handles.

Custom made Microfiber indoor/outdoor lockable car cover

Mid to low $70's I guess.

If it helps, there is a Artic Silver/Black TT with about the same miles as your's, but no way as nice going for $82k.

So i'm thinking you can probably do better than low 70's for your's. Obviously...i'm not in the market.

Good luck with the sale!

"Student"??? I set a track record at Willow Springs. I'd be your first "student" to tell you to shut up and HANG ON!

Actually, I have a 911 track car for thrashing. The GT3 will be used primarily to scare my friends silly in the Santa Monica Mountians, and maybe a few DE's.

Cool Come out to Willow Springs in June!!!

Craig,

The JP competition within Porsche Owners Club ius intense. The current JP track record is a 1:30 set by Ross Clardy...that is bloody fast.

There is a Racers Clinic in June, see Porsche Owners Club

If you have done six (6) time trials recently and want to go racing, this clinic is for you. I will be there doing my second clinic. They are intense.

I have raced Ross in JP/ R6 many times at Willow Springs and was never able to get my 911SC under 1:31:60. I did however beat him for an overall race & class win in Cup Race "B" at Willow Springs on Sept.28th, 1998.

We ran 1-2 (him1/me2) for the whole race with him pulling me by around a second per lap until I saw him in the hot pit near the end of the race.
He had broken something in the drivetrain with one lap to go and couldn't get his car accross the Start/Finish line after pulling into the pits.

It was the easiest pass for a win I ever had! and it was one of the only times I beat him.

Hopefully, Ross will move up to V3, or buy a cup car by the time my car is ready!

Wink Sweet Win for Zombie Man

Two things I learned in my December Racers Clinic. No race is ever won in the first turn, and, you have to finish to win!

So true Martin!, but there's nothing in the world like screaming into turn one with 30-40 other 911's that are trying to get to the front while using the same section of the track at the same time

If you buy a GT3...you'll never look back. I had one and I compare only to it. Once it crosses 4k on the RPM, hang on...you can't dismiss anything that can go from 0-100-0 in less than 13 seconds.

It was a rush!
