I already did a search and came up with nothing. There is one Porsche dealer in town but he can't do a PPI for a couple weeks. I couldn't find any race prep shops
I tried some google stuff but apparently there isn't a whole lot going on in the Lansing area.
Thanks in advance.

Claudio Kaempf is the owner of Foreign Car Services in Kalamazoo, MI (60 miles away from Lansing). This might be a bit far for the current owner to carry the car but people from Grand Rapids bring their cars to him for service. Grand Rapids is also roughly 60 miles away. Claudio is a long time PCA member and club racer. He does great work as well as PPI's. Give him a call, if anything, he might be able to provide a recommendation. (269)342-6994

EuroTec Motors, Inc. - Ann Arbor
I'm not exactly sure they do PPI's. However, they are incredible from a performance standpoint. Many locals use them to set up their race/track cars. They do only performance modifications--no aesthetic mods.

What do you know about the Porsche dealer in Ann Arbor? They service the car in question and say it is great and needs nothing. I think the name is Cooper Howard or something like that.
They also said it has just had a belt and water pump service, that it runs perfectly, it has but 22K miles. They recommended a $90 safety and service inspection.
Your thoughts??

When I bought mine, I had a dealer do the PPI. Since then, I have been less than impressed with dealers.
The dealer who did the PPI missed:
1) a non-functioning door lock actuator;
2) non-functioning fog lights;
3) non-functioning reverse lights;
4) a leaking shock absorber;
etc.
Locally, I had another dealer do some service and check the suspension (it felt lose). The lead mechanic at the Porsche dealer indicated everything was fine, but recommended an alignment. Months later, I ended up do a suspension install myself and found two of the four shocks to be blown/leaking fluid.
After that, I'm thinking that a well-regard independent shop might be better.
That being said, I do not have personal experience with the Ann Arbor dealer. But, if they have been servicing it up to now, that is another reason to bring it somewhere else.
