Default Steering Rack Brace

I sent my car in to have some things done and the shop is telling me that the bolts on the steering rack brace should be the same size. Suncoast sent me two different sizes (one is longer) Are the bolts supposed to be 2 differnt sizes?

If you have the updated steering rack brace you will need to do the longer bolts and do away with the short ones. I have done this to 2 cars and you have to use the longer bolts supplied with the upgraded brace.

Sunset sent me 2 different sized bolts. My shop is telling me I need two bolts, that are longer than stock but are the same size. Were your new bolts both the same size?

Grungy: The New longer supplied bolts that come with the brace kit should be the same size. One should not be longer than the other.

Grungy:

Scott is correct. the bolts should both be the exact same size and longer. I have a set of the longer bolts (NEW IN THE BAG)that I will be happy to give you just pay the actual shipping charge. PM if you want them for free.
