I used a regular household staple gun to attach the rubber trim. I am not happy with the placement of the rubber trim and plan on pulling the bumper and re-doing it.

I bought my lights (full euro without the bumperettes) from Los Angeles Porsche Dismantler.

I used double sided tape to position the beading. I stapled the straight section but I left the curves unstapled. I put the bumper in place and then I postioned the beading in place as I put the bumper in its final position. It took half a dozen tries but I finally got it pretty close.

I tried the tape and for me it didn't work. No real big does or don't. However, I would make sure that the temp is warm enough that the bumper won't crack.

I am in the process of redoing my front and rear bumper covers as well. When I spoke to my local body shop, they charge a bit less if you do the grunt work and remove/install your bumper covers yourself. When I asked about the weatherstripping and how to reinstall it, they mentioned Wurth Black Weatherstrip Adhesive. If you wish to reuse the weatherstripping, then they also recommended a rubber protection that rejuvenates the old rubber.

I found both items at Pelican Parts. They are as follows:

Wurth Black Weatherstrip Adhesive, 5 ox. Tube $11.85
Rubber Protection - Gummi Pflege $7.50

I just received them in the mail. Bumpers come off this week. I'll be trying this idea in a few weeks when the bumper covers have been sprayed.

I just used a regular stapler, it was strong enough to punch through the bumper material
