Was full leather optional on C4S?

My '96 with full red leather includes stitched leather vent-slats.

Full leather not standard on C4S. I've one friend with full leather and I can tell a big change in the smell when I sit in his versus mine. It does cost a lot though and the car smells great with partial too but not as great.

The way you tell if your car has full leather,if you don't have the window stickeris your dash will have a french stich around the dash cowl, glove box and door pulls. If it is partial leather it won't have any stiching in these areas.I have looked at many cars for sale where the owner claimed to have a Full leather intereior and they really only have partial leather or the other $1500 option was Full leather front seats only.So you have partial leather[just the part of the front seats where your body touchs]The sides of the front seats are vinyl.Full leather front seats,[whole front seat is leather] and Full leather interior[Dash, door panels and seats

I think there were packages that included some but not all of the interior. You could also specify. The original owner of my car paid something like 7k but was pretty upset to find out that the visors and the pillars in front of the front window were not leather. He thought he had told the ordertaker, and paid for, all leather. Oh well...

Mark...love that combo of red interior / Arctic exterior. Mine is midnight blue interior and Arctic Ext. And definitely not all C2S came with full leather. Partial leather only on mine.

Bringing this thread back from the dead just to try and clarify things. AFAIK, Full leather was standard on the ROW 993TT and 993C4S but not the the C2S? Full leather for the US Spec models was only standard on the 993TT and not on the C4S or C2S. Did I get that right?
Any ROW C4S owners that don't have full leather interior? (e.g leather dash etc)
For the ROW C4S I also believe that full A/C was standard, while it was not standard on the ROW C2S.
TIA

The designation "full leather" and "partial leather" appears open to interpretation.
My '96C4S has complete leather seats, console, kneebar across bottom of dash (French stitch) and jump seats. Door panels, pillars and headliner are vinyl.
Seems an odd allocation, especially the kneebar. Is this a standard option or the
OO's custom configuration? Partial, full, full+? I consider it partial.
InTheAir, my seats are also 12 way with heat. I consider myself fortunate that it all works.
