Fellow Rennlister "Darkens" from Atlanta was in my neck of the woods yesterday (Louisville KY) and we got together with an ex-Rennlister to install RS motor mounts in Darkens' car, take a short drive, have a few cold ones and snap a few photos.
Mine is the red one (recall - faster than an Audi S6 in a street race on public roads), Darkens' is the Iris Blue, and Ed owns the Challenger. He used to own Verberg's current Rivi Blue ride.
During our evening drive we _never_ raced on public roads, we _never_ exceeded the posted speed limit, and we always drove with hands at 10 and 2.
Darkens' and I swapped cars for awhile, and I gotta say I was surprised by how different they are. My car has more of a track set up with a lower ride height and more camber, stiffer sway bars, RS shifter and FDM front rod, and Wevo engine mounts. Darkens' car has a much stiffer clutch for some reason and due to more of a street set-up seems much more "nervous" than mine.
But - both awesome to drive.
That _might_ be me in the first pic, but I will deny it if asked about a certain event with an Audi in southern Ohio earlier this month.
Enjoy the pics...

I could never get enough pictures of this Blue Turquoise C4S. It has to be the most beautiful 993 out there. If it isn't, the ones prettier are almost certainly Blue Turquoise as well.
