Actually, it is Mammoth Lakes. I stayed at a friend's condo for a couple of nights and then back home. Met up with a couple with the 993 cab as they are full time ML residents.

LOL, this was actually a buddy of mine driving it around for a photoshoot while I'm in NYC. Here is a link to the rest of the pics for anyone that might be curious. http://maydaygarage.com/2010/02/23/f...ster/#more-856

How true. I wonder if Porsche ever regrets ending production of the original 911 series.

I dont think large companies have regrets....not even Porsche! If they were thinking at all about the old 911 with sentimentality they would NOT have delivered that Aztek of a car...THE PANEMERA!

I read Bruce Andersons Excellence commentary regarding the new 997 vs the 993. He certainly doesn't look back with a tearful gaze, does he?

Here is one more of mine while I am posting. I am thinking about Euro amber tailights (photoshopped here) because I like the look, especially the contrast with the arena red. What do you think? (OT, sorry!)

They appear to be Kinesis wheels, I have a set on my '76 C3. I'd be interested in the specs on their 993 versions if you have them.
