@c2_peter that deck lid is crazy! I love it! Gruppe-B vibes!
@Coleman exactly. I appreciate the compliment. Been fortunate in experiencing the generosity of fellow Rennlisters; the grille was perfect for my personal aesthetic taste so it just worked out
[QUOTE=c2_peter;18292106]@Coleman this is my favorite photo I took of it right after install:
Nice job! Maybe a few more shims to raise it up where the deck lid mounts to the hinges. Help it fit more flush at the top.
Fits well side to side and where it meets the tail lights. I was thinking of doing the same to save a ton of weight at the rear. I want to get it
vinyl wrapped in Guards Red to match. Maybe a cut out for the Carrera emblem showing off the carbon underneath. Who makes the decklid?
Did you notice the difference in weight? Thanks!

@911F1 good suggestion. The deck lid fit significantly better than I thought it would out of the box. I thoroughly expected additional body work as most aftermarket requires but this bolted right on. It also replicates all OEM mounting holes (threaded and open) and studs for the spoiler and motor if you decide to run them.
FVD brand. I reached out to Rhonda.Roxburgh@fvd.net with my RL username to get an invoice with a small forum discount as well.
I have no affiliation with FVD but have made about half a dozen purchases over the past couple months and their customer service along with product quality have been A1.
The ol’ reliable butt dyno definitely feels the difference.
I love your guards red 993. I have a 95 in guards red. Did you get your body parts painted here in San Diego? If so, where? I just picked a a turbo bumper for mine and I need to have it painted.
