Does anyone know first hand that a 996 3 spoke steering will fit
my '96 993 C4S?

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

It'll fit right on . . . so I'm told. I'm still waiting to install one I recently bought.

The 996 wheel is one of the nicest airbag wheels for a 993, IMHO.

Default CF steering wheel

Thanks guys...I have just placed an order with Brandywine for a CF 3 spoke & the leather airbag. This will match my CF handbrake and stick shift nicely! I will post picks once installed.

Regards,
Alan

What's taking you so long, Scott?!?!? It takes about 15 minutes. Drive down to OC sometime and we'll do it over a beer at my place.

Just time Jeff . . . mine's pretty limited lately. I've got some black/red sport seats that need to go in too. Plus, I've been contemplating taking it in to get re-wrapped in black leather with red stitching.

You've gotta come to one of these Malibu runs / VCR get-togethers soon . . . GOOD TIMES! If not . . . I'll be down in Newport the first part of August for a couple of weeks . . . and we'll definitely need to get together for a or 2.

What is the 996 color to look for to match a classic grey interior. One of the many planned mods.

Yeoowww looks like around $1500 for wheel and airbag module on Carnewal with Euro conversion.

What kind of pricing are you all seeing state-side?

thanks

Try to find a used one . . . perhaps from a 996 or Boxster owner that is "up-grading" to something else. Mine does not have the leather air-bag . . . bought it used and paid $450.

jlb,

Try PMing "Todd B". He had a 996 wheel on his RS clone but has since switched to a Momo Mod .07/cup car wheel. His 996 wheel may just be lying around if he hasn;t already sold it or installed it on his 993 targa.
