OT- Mac users- how do you resize photos?

Can't see where on iPhoto and could not download Irfan (Windows only?)

In iPhoto you can control the size of the pictures that you Export - it's in the Export dialog. Otherwise you can use GraphicConverter, shareware from graphicconverter.com
