Do you lower your cars? .......

This is a huge topic. You probably need to do some searches on "suspension, M030, M033, H&R" etc.
What springs do you have now--stock US springs? stock Euro springs?
How old are your shocks?
What kind of driving?
How much you want to spend (how much you got?) ?
We definitely need more details.

Personally, I like it even though it can be jarring at times, and absolutely LOVE the lowered look.

MO33 are the factory lowering (ROW/ rest of world ride height) that have approx. the same rate as your stock springs and therefore the same ride characteristics while bringing you car down around an inch and filling the wheel wells better.
When & if you change out the springs, you should probably install new Bilstein HD shocks as Porsche used really crappy monroes as OE when your car was produced and they are probably shot. You can retain the stock sway bars as long as you're not stiffening the suspension but might consider new bushings to take any play out.
Gert @ Carnewal (rennlist sponsor) has everything you need to get this done so I suggest looking at his site & doing some searches here to get the info on DIY or a good shop in your area.
Good Luck.

What a nice and clean car you got there.
My car is a UK 993 so it must come with Euro springs. Actually I'm very happy with the comfort and handling of my car.
I don't want to spend too much on springs and shocks because I have 18 inch rims on my wish list.

In that case, you could keep your stock Euro springs and install new shocks (preferably Bilstein HDs). They are threaded to allow you to lower your car.
However, if you are concerned with money, just note that you will be paying for new shocks, installation (assuming you don't do it yourself--see DIY in my signature), possibly cornerbalancing, and an alignment if you choose to lower your car.
