Question Rear Wiper problem

Hi, I'm new to this Great Forum.
I have a 993 C2 and the Rear Wiper doesn't seem to work. Has anybody experienced the same problem and self fixed it?

Thank You.

Default Rear Wiper problem

Sorry no but if you keep your speed up and don't stop at any red lights, the window will stay dry

I fixed mine alright.... by taking the whole dumb thing out. Saves something like 5 lbs and looks a lot better. If you want to either remove it or fix it, check out the DIY procedure at http://p-car.com/diy/diy.html

Default I fixed the rear wiper....

I was actually thinking of removing it but after seeing the "DIY" on how to do it.......so much work.

Actually you are right; if you ride it fast enough.. you won't be needing the rear wiper at all.

Last week while cleaning my car's interior, I thought I would check the rear wiper switch in case it's connection came loose. Voila.... it did. So I just put the connector back in and it works now.

Thanks.

Actually, removing the rear wiper is very easy. The DIY makes it look a bit difficult, but it's really very simple. You don't even need the DIY because it's so easy to figure out once you're in there.

So much work? I took mine out yesterday and it couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes! I have never used my rear wiper except when I hit the button by accident, so I'm happy to be rid of what was effectively dead weight and a blemish on the car's looks.
