Well I might be a little biased on this subject, but I made my vote and I'm sticking to it

I like them both. I started out looking for a wide bodied car but after mistaking a few narrow bodies for wide bodies, I realized the narrow body really wasn't so 'narrow.' And the price difference helped....

OK. To the NB bros, please do not get upset. Here is what I think.

We are buying non current models because there must be some attributes of the older Porsches which we appreciate, right? Air cool engines... classic lines, collector values, etc.

For me, if I want a narrow body air cool, I would get a RS America.

If you like the 993, admit it, you like the sexier line and the wide body. And if so, why go half ***? Get the S!

JMHO.

Wide bodies look best to me, because I like that "S" on the back. I think the "S" is very cool and definitely worth an extra few thousand bucks.

Cheers,

Proud NB lover here. But to be honest, I've never seen a 993 I didn't love. I lust after them equally. Only solution I see is one of each.

Steve 96C4S-
When I see that picture of your car from rear/above, I remember why I wanted a wide body.
And I guess I never paid much attention to J LO before. Whoa....

Well . . . she's been "around the block a few times" . . . but I'd slap on some new rubber and take 'er for a spin . . . or two.

I fell in love with the WideBodies back in 1976 when I saw my 1st 930. After finally owning a Factory Wide Body Carrera, no offense, but I don't think I'd ever go back to a Narrow Body.

I don't care for the rocker panels on the wide bodies. To me the smooth curve, the way the sides seem to wrap under the car, is more "classic 911."

A nice set up nb is as beautifull as a wb BUT the money you must invest to make the NB as beautiful is ridicilous.
You must add turbo bumpers, pss9, clear markers, 18" wheels, big ovals, turbo S scoops, big reds.. etc...

If I had to do it again I would just buy a wide body for the same money. :-)

Ciao

Default Can't go wrong with either.

but voting against your own car would be like a Red Sox fan picking the Yankees in 7, so I vote wyde body.
