View Poll Results: What is your preferred "loitering" RPM on a typical road?
I keep it as low as possible (i.e. highest gear possible).

True.

In a recent DE, the instructor wanted us newbies to ~not~ shift. So, I drove the 2mile course in 3 gear....speeds ranged from 35-100mph.

Like Zombie, ~3000 for ~80mph on the highway....if I leave it in 4th or 5th, I find myself doing 90

When scooting around town, I often find myself at 4000 and thinking...hmmm, should I not be running her so hard? Then I step on it and she responds like she likes it! So I stopped worrying about it!
