If so please post pics. I am thinking of doing this on my arena red turbo. I want to give the car more attitude and think black is to much and silver just does not work.

Not gunmetal gray, but the car for sale in this thread has some dark gray painted factory wheels...

Chris Walrod has the MY'02 Carrera 5 spokes and they are powder-coated a dark gray . . . not sure of the "gunmetal" shade though. His car is SY and the wheels look awesome IMHO.

K2, you must have read my mind. I ve been thinking about "gun metal" for my turbo wheels. Would like them with a polished edge.
Been looking for a pic since a while. Hope something shows up.

Here's factory gun metal gray.
Kinesis calls this shot-peened anodized. They claim it is extremely durable and recommend cleaning with WD-40 (being careful, of course, to keep the lubricant off braking surfaces...).

I was thinking the same thing. The ones in the pics are too dark and I was thinking the same shade or color as per the Maserati - Grand Turbo or the shade that comes on the FX 45. It is expensive because it is a multi stage process.
