161 on the southern california autobahn in the 968.....
166 on another southern california autobahn in the 993.....
love the gps speedo, but the 993 dosent feel as stable as the water cooled car at high speeds, must be all the weight on the back wheels

170+ on the front straight of Road America...in a borrowed Carrera GT. I quit before the car did.

no but I've driven 162mph before in Montana back when they didn't have a speed limit ...granted I only saw 162 for about 30 seconds and then went back down to 159 and the average speed was more like 145 for an hour..

BTW: when going over 140mph, your gas gauge goes down super fast

I think this translates to something around 160+ less speedo error.....
