WTB: Duck Tail..am I nuts
I've been thinking about a cosmetic upgrade for my 993 and really love the retro look of the 73 RS, so my plan is to mix it up a bit with the addtion of a duck tail, RS splitters, RS side skirts, Carrera lettering and 18" RH 3.6 wheels. Can anyone point me in the right direction re where to purchase the body parts. I assume OEM parts would have a better fit, but will consider after market manufacutrers if there is a considerable price difference. Thanks in advance for the help.

You'll want to look up John Colasente's car: http://www.cupcar.net/myrsoptik.htm
IIRC John put together a 993 ducktail production run, check the archives here.

There is another rennlister that has a yellow 993 in that configuration....now if can just remember who it is?
Can't think of who it was, but hopefully he'll chime in and show you pix of his car...it looks pretty cool.

I have an after market duck tail that I have decided not to install. My car has the factory aerokit and I've decided to keep the original look for my car.
This duck tail was part of a rennlist group buy several years ago. I bought it from another rennlist member. I actually took the ducktail to paint shop but never had it painted. I can go pick it up and take some pictures, if you are interested.
Thanks
chuck

Darin,
Thanks for posting my car. Just for kicks here's another picture...
The car will be lowered soon and I do have the carrera and porsche RS graphics. I'm thinking the graphics might be a little over the top. Maybe I'll set up a poll???
