Thoughts on P93 Euro M033 Suspension Package
First of all, since I purchased a 95 Cab a few months ago and discovered this site my work productivity at word dropped dramatically and my wife now hates computers! You gotta love wireless and P-cars. Anyway, I was considering this set up because I just use the car on the weekends for casual enjoyment. I love the look of the ROW suspension but have little utility for a sport suspension at the moment. I have read that the OEM shocks last about 25K and assme that it applies to this set up too, right? Is there a better option for under 1K? I want to save money for 02 five spokes which I will need shortly. Thanks in advance.

if not going to track or autocross, you'll probably really like it because it puts our 993s back at the ride height they were meant to be at from the factory and NOT what the US federal law says about required bumper height

If you want the car lower, but the same ride compliance (softness/comfort), then the M033 is the right one for you. Go for it.
However, be careful that you are not buying the Porsche shocks in the package. They are of the same quality they were 10 years ago--they will last about 25k miles and you will have to replace the shocks again. I would suggest getting the Bilstein HD shocks with the Euro M033 springs. I'd also recommend installing them yourself (see link in my signature) if you want to save money--it's not that hard and is actually kind of fun.

I installed MO33 with Bilsteins last month. The ride is the same as stock and the ride height is perfect for me (since I have to go over speed bumps daily). Got the set up from Gert for under $1,000!

Thanks for the replys. 25k may be all I need anyway. I've got the bug am already thinking about a turbo. This is my first 993 (I have a 2005 Cayenne S) and love working on it. Beyond the two recient pruchases, I have only owned 1 other car in my life over the past 15 years. I have worked ofr companies that issue company cars and I am trying to make up for lost time. Just went to the allowance and drive the pepper daily. If I never see the inside of a Ford Taurus, Jeeps or Intrepid it would be too soon!

I went with the MO30 and Bilstein with front and back sway bars. It is like a new car, stiff, minimal body roll and the rubber sticks much better. I went with the MO30 over the MO33 because the roads I drive on are pretty bumpy and I was worried about lowering the car without having a progressive spring rate. The car is a inch lower front and back.
I got the parts from Gert. they came in a few days after ordering them, everything there and packaged well. Had my shop, San Carlos European install them and had it aligned and height tweeks at Custom Alignment in Mountian View, both in the Bay area. I would recomend the "proceedure" and shops to anyone, all very professional and top rate work. Can't get enough of the "new car"!!!
