It looks like you have two identical mounts, rather than a left and right. Where did you get it from?

Sunset Porsche in Oregon. Just got off the phone with them. They're going to swap it for one that's correct. This is a bummer. Really surprised that Porsche would send you two left shoes.

Thanks for the responses, advice and pictures. I was sure it couldn't be right but thrown off by the fact that Porsche sent it to me that way!

Still terrified of stripping those bolts. So off to find a low end torque wrench.

Use a 1/4" ratchet - you don't need to "buy" a torque wrench for such light pressure.

I highly recommend my strut brace from Steve Wong. Only 1lb, 10oz, beautifuly machined aluminum (not heavy stamped steel) ends. http://www.911chips.com/C2strut.htm Only $195!

I bought the Schnell strut brace (also beautiful machined aluminum) from Vertex when I bought the HID's. They are currently $119 on sale, take five minutes to put on and fit under the carpet.

This is probably late info for Dr. No, but I recently put in the KLA Strut Brace ($137).

Be careful about not tightening the bar too tight. I have heard that it is actually possible to change your suspension geometry accidentally this way, by inadvertently drawing the shock towers closer or pushing them apart.
