This morning I decided to detail the white Cab and the first attacked point was the rubber seals/gaskets...I'd like to recommend 303 Protectant to all of you...the rubber really "drinks" the product and in 15 minutes it's all absorbed and the rubber looks like showroom...
Flying Finn passed by and caught me armed with cotton swabs...pretty embarrassing!!!
I took the opportunity to apply my "every two months" Rejuvenator oil (Leatherique) treatment...TIP: after application, close the doors and leave the car in the sun to create the "green house effect" and have the product perfectly absorbed by the leather seats...the hot environment inside the car's interior will bring max effectiveness...

Pedro -
Glad you used the 303 Aerospace Protectant. I remember you asking about it when I did my engine detail (in signature). I use it for my dash, doors, etc in interior, my gaskets/seals elsewhere, in my engine bad, and on my tires.
You can buy the 303 Aerospace Protectant (and 303 Aerospace Cleaner, which is what I used at full strength on my engine) from http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/303-230330.html.

As far as the shirt...it's over 80F in Miami and I'm four blocks from the ocean...shirts are superfluous considering weather condition!

for the vinyl in our car interiors, 303 is the gold standard... originally designed for use on boat vinyl and plastic, it is the absolute best for keeping out UV rays... i use it very liberally on my car... you can pick it up many places, but i like this source... no affiliation, just a happy customer... www.detailersparadise.com

I love the stuff....both the 303 cleaner and protectant. Autogeek is a great place for detailing needs as well...no affiliation whatsoever.

I can add another vote for 303 protectant.
I use it on all my rubber seals on the 993 and have used it on a vinyl convertible roof on my previous car (Honda S2000). Always get excellent results with it.

There I am, driving home and when passing Pedro's, I see him there, no shirt, looks like he's kissing the hood or something... Then, when he hears me, he comes up, has cotton swabs on one hand, and some weird tupperware on the other...

Relax Pedro, we're all crazy like that!
