Not sure if this is any help, but FWIW I installed a Mobil 1 oil filter on my 944 years ago and replaced it rather quickly because my oil pressure suffered. You know how you usually get 5 bar or more when revving your engine??? Well, I never got over 4 bar after a few days with the Mobil 1 filter. I believe it was getting clogged.

Bob:

These are made by Wix and not appropriate for these engines. The filter case is not thick enough and the pressure relief/bypass valves do not work right.

Stick with the OEM German ones and you'll not risk that motor. I used to keep a whole garbage bag full of Yankee filters that had bulged-burst casings to show people.

Baldwin filters are OK.

Bob, you want really good filters? go with Canton/Mecca billet types, they are the best, just my opinion, cheers, Sonny.
