One alternative might be to try a kitchen installer. A buddy of mine does very high end kitchens and baths, and a lot of these are tear-outs of relatively new installations - some people change them like clothing. Those old cabinets have to go somewhere, and the installers might make you a good deal - that way they get paid to tear out the old ones, paid to install new ones, and then paid to install the tear-outs in your garage. Keeps stuff out of the landfill, too.
I have a set coming soon, including a wall oven for parts heating and baking finishes :-)

This actually brings up a great point. I think instead of using the European legs I’d add some nice wheels so that I can roll them out of the way when needed and possible move them with me when I move.

I had the guy over from Slide Lok today, and he gave me the following plans.
I thought I would post them with the prices, to give you an idea.
The cabinets were nice.
Modular Design with a
Custom Built Look
›› Precut and Finished Components
›› Pre-drilled for Adjustable Shelving
›› Dovetail Construction Throughout Cabinets and Drawers
›› Plywood Sides and Face Frame
›› Rugged Thermofuse Doors
›› Fully Adjustable Legs for Easy Leveling Provides added protection against water damage, Insects and rodents
›› 6 Way Adjustable Concealed Hinges
›› Beautiful Finish Inside and Out
›› Choice of Natural Maple, White Maple or White Washed Oak
This is my washer wall.
This is the plan.
My back wall it is 17 Feet to the door.
This is the plan
Let me know your thoughts.
Michael

Hi Craig:
Those tiles were purchased from Sears. They were on sale a while back. Very similar to Race Deck but a lot cheaper. Sears quarantees them for ten years and they are, according to Sears commercial quality. So far I am very pleased with them. Very easy to install. Tony

Tony,
I looked at those cabinets on HomeDepot's website but they were only available through the net. Maybe that is just a local thing, but I was wondering if you had them shipped to you or if you bought them at a retail store?
The shipping would make these cabinets too expensive for my tastes.
