With them (x 2) installed is there room for the legs of a small child ( say 6 yrs old)?
If not, thinking of just installing one behind the drivers side and leaving the other side free- anyone have just one installed? How's the sound?
I have a single 8" in my S4 and it sound fine IMO.

Ritter - I have Rod's enclosures behind both seats; unless you are on the short side (really short) I'd have to say there isn't any room for legs. I'm just at 6' and my seat just touches the enclosure. On the flip side, the sound is excellent!

I have the same Rod Birch subs and a 7 yr. old. It's tight and he puts his feet on top most of the time. I'm tall and the one behind my seat (the speaker grill) got bent by my seat coming back. You could modify your seat to prevent this. Food for thought.

I am considering getting several of Rod Birch's audio pieces including the subs. I have moved my seats back to the rear holes to give me more legroom. I also have the hardback sports seats. How do you think the subs will fit? My youngest is 19 years old and she doesn't ride in the back.
