3rd brake light not working on late model '95
I found out today that the third brake light at the top of my rear window (I don't have a basket handle) is not working. The lower lights work as does cruise control. I looked at the rear window and saw three wired soldered to the window. Is there a lamp that I need to replace? Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi,
Do you have voltage at the window's inside solder points? It's probably a failure in this area. Take a look at the incredibly good PCAR site here:

hi mate,
I had the same problem probably find your +12v (Black wire) is bad between the glass and outside I followed the p-com instructions BUT it is impossible to get between the rubber seal and the glass to pass a new wire thro from inside to outside. I had to drill a 4mm hole 65mm left of centre (looking from the back) in the roof lip the inner part and pass a new wire thro there and then thro the headlining and onto the black wire inside. Check for voltage inside black is +12v and brown is ground. Any more help needed just email me
good luck
Regards
Pete
