Anyone in FL?
I am still searching hard for a 96-98 Cab. What does everyone think of this car for $37k?

Hi Trey...Freddy is a hell of a picky guy...I sent him to check my car before I bought it!!!
What I don't understand is why someone would let some third party, with a terrible eBay feedback, do the auction for them...it does not smell good to me! I'd call the owner and ask tons of questions!
Good luck...

Trey, Cab's are all over, easy to find. I would call the owner like others have suggested, find out as much as possible before you bid. I would actually want to see a car before I would bid on it.

Hi Trey...you have a great team of inspectors already...the Rennlist power!!!! Have a long chat with the owner before you accept these guy's generous offer...I still don't like the fact this car is being sold by this lousy third party auction company with bad feedback rating!!!

Rennlist is a great place :-) Thank you SO much for the many offers to check out the car.
So here's the story. I spoke with the owner today... She has an offer on the car but the car hasn't had a PPI and the buyer isn't local. So she isn't sure it's sold. She is the second owner and purchased it when it had 19000 miles. She has all service records since she purchased it, but hasn't had the 60k service completed yet. From my conversation she isn't an enthusiast and might be using this service because she is lazy?
I asked her what she settled on for a price. She wouldn't tell me in case her deal falls through. She proceeded to ask me what I was looking to spend. Thinking $37k is a fair price if the car checks out I said $37,000. She was immediately bummed out and said she accepted an offer below that. If her deal falls through I now know she will take less than $37. She must have accepted something in the neighborhood of $35 or she wouldn't have been as bummed as she sounded.
How does everyone feel about $37k (possibly $36k knowing she took less)

Hi Trey...if the car checks out OK, $37 is a great price...$36 even better...if she does not close the deal, ask her to take the car to "Gulf Performance Center" in Pompano Beach (pretty close to Boca), call Vincent Colosino (Owner) and ask for a PPI with leakdown test...Freddy will agree with me as Vincent was responsible for his PPI when he bought his Turquoise metallic Cab in Boca last year... by the way, their phone # is (954) 783-7345...good luck and if you buy the car, you owe us a bunch of PICTURES!!!!

Much to my disappointment I no longer need help with this car...
When I first contacted the seller she had accepted an offer on the car. She wouldn't tell me the offer in case it didn't go through. However, I did tell her what I was willing to pay. It was more than her current offer. A few days went by and she called to see if I was still serious about the car. She had not recieved money from the buyer and was going to give him one more day and then move forward with my offer....
A couple days went by and I didn't hear from her. Long story short I spoke with her today and the car is on its way to a new owner... Finally she told me what she sold the car for. $33,750. The car completely checked out and was a one owner call with all service records. That buyer got one heck of a deal...
I am really getting frustrated looking for the right car. Two of slipped through my hands in a matter of 2 weeks. I was 2 days late calling.
Why did I sell my 96 Iris blue cab 1.5 years ago... The thing had 13k miles... IDIOT!!!!
