Default Spring advice:

I'm considering H&R springs but am concerned that the car will be too low for speed bumps etc- should this be a real concern?

They lower by about 1" F and 1.5" R, yes?

TIA.

My H&R springs/HD Bilstein set-up (just removed for a JIC Cross Competition suspension) took the car to about 25mm/24.75mm f/r. No problem with speed bumps, etc. The very steepest of driveways needed to be approached on an angle, but that was rare.

Here is a set just installed last night on a Rennlister's car with Bilstein HDs ....

Do not even think about just replacing the springs and keeping your old shocks.... If they are original, they need to be replaced.
