Not yet...they will control the volume of the stereo. I need another part that goes between the steering wheel and column to make it work. Just haven't gotten around to it...but that's the plan anyways.

Thanks for the pics. Are your pieces the Alu Titan or Alu Nature finish that Cup-Sport offers?

Scott, mine are the "Alu Titan" (top), the ones in Tony's car are the "Alu Nature" (middle).

Here are the different finishes next to one another.

What exactly does this process entail? I've toyed with that idea.

It's not too bad. I just need the horn control piece to finish it.

As always...Robin's site has step by step instructions...

You can program each button to do different things. I must likely use mine for volume/ station preset change up or down in radio mode and volume/ CD track +/- on CD mode.

As you can see in the pics, I a;ready lightly sanded the "TIPTRONIC" that is printed between the +/- signs on the button. Eventually, I will stencil in VOL and TRK or something like that.

Sounds cool Cabrio. Sounds like an adventuresome project. Keep us posted.

I purchased a set of rings from Elke at Cup-Sport, excellent friendly transaction!! They also offer a Rennlist Member discount. Fast shipping also.
